Sauer & Sohn, Suhl“, metal front sight, wide concave matted rib, doll‘s head, extractor, patented self-cocking system from Sauer with cocking indicator, from the front removable firing pins, sidelocks with rear springs and catch rods, extensively engraved receiver, tendrils and floral motifs on the case, game scenes deeply engraved on the lock plates, slide tang safety, double trigger, horn trigger guard (broken and repaired), sling swivel lugs, walnut stock heavily worn with disappearing checkering and various cracks and missing parts, forend with Deeley release, buttstock with semi-pistol grip, oval cheekpiece and horn buttplate. Delivered in a leather case with canvas protective cover. Inside is the manufacturer‘s label (reprint), cleaning rod, oil bottle and tools. Old German proof, not fully recognizable, not valid. Modern electric pen engraving „SE3013“ on the underside of the barrel. Collector‘s weapon without (valid) proof, provided for storage due to its art or collector‘s value.
