Barrel length 81 cm, stock length 32 cm, year of manufacture around 1855, condition 3. Distinctive military sniper weapon in the style of a contemporary target rifle. Metal parts a bit rusty, part of the tap broken off. Two holes in the extension of the tail screw, possibly for a diopter. Otherwise in good condition for its age. Jean Siber was a gunsmith active in Lausanne and Paris in the mid-19th century. There is no commission for this lot; only the statutory sales tax of 20% will be added to the highest bid!
