Barrels inlaid with Browning Arms Company - St. Louis, Missouri (though Belgian manufacture), straight matted ventilated rib, pearl front sight, auxiliary front sight, ejectors, system parts and bascule engraved with floral patterns, these additionally decorated with flying game scenes, Signature on the right "Spark", on the trigger guard two hares, golden single trigger, slide safety with barrel selector on the coble neck, evenly grained walnut stock with lacquer finish, fine chequering, pommel grip and leathered rubber butt cap. "TO" engraved below the finish on the back of the pommel grip.
Magnificently preserved finish of an FN refined by the then chief and master engraver Felix Funken, who was in the service of FN until about 1960 and was instrumental in the creation of the FN School of Engraving. A collector's item with the typical hunting ornamentation of the master.
