Mauserwerke in Oberndorf am Neckar was one of the most efficient and innovative gun factories in the world until 1945. The Mauser 71 and 98 rifle systems were milestones in weapons manufacturing. In the mid-1930s, Mauser took over the production of Parabellum pistols from DWM and produced about 1 million units of this famous pistol system until 1945.
