The legendary "Pistole 08" was introduced in the German Army in 1908 and produced by the Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) with other Parabellum variants until about 1930 in the edition of about one million pieces. It was replaced as the German ordnance pistol only in 1941 by the Walther P38.
