Rare double action only pistol made by Steyr-Daimler-Puch. It came on the market in 1957 was intended as a competitor for the then highly fashionable Walther PP and PPK pistols. However, its commercial success was very modest. Accordingly, only 940 copies were manufactured until 1964, which made it a rare and sought-after collector's weapon today. The company Joh. Springer's Erben is closely associated with the model, it was the general agent of Steyr at that time. The pistol was exported all over the world at that time, mostly to Saudi Arabia. Our specimen is one of the last ever produced. In extremely rare original leatherette case, lined with gray velvet inside, with spare magazine and copy of instructions. Unique ensemble in mint condition! The records of the quantities produced as well as further details on the history of this collector's weapon can be found in the book written by our experts Mag. Josef Mötz, together with Joschi Schuy, the "Weiterentwicklung der Selbstladepistole I - Österreichische Pistolen - Band II".
