Barrel made of Böhler Antinit, ventilated engine-turned rib, single trigger, sliding tang safety, walnut stock with fine checkering, pistol grip and carved butt plate, dark case cover with light scratches, base deeply engraved and shaded with floral arabesques and fire-breathing dragons on the flanks, on underside with vignette of a hunting dog retrieving a woodcock signed "Inc. Dassa", top lever, trigger and trigger guard dark hardened, "BB" inlaid in gold on trigger guard. Sling eyes colour case hardened. Craftsmanship from Brescia adorns this fine semi-auto hunting rifle from the Italian manufactory. Dassa stands for the Brescia-based company of master engraver Alessandro Dasso. The workshop, which is now run by his sons, specializes in the finishing of high-quality hunting weapons. In 1988, a series of finely crafted Cosmi shotguns were created, which the master engraver has already executed in collaboration with his sons, who have been involved in the company since 1986.
