Civilian version of the Swiss StG 57 as a factory semi-automatic. Introduced in Switzerland in 1957, the weapon served for over 3 decades as a replacement for the Schmidt-Rubin K31, from which it inherited its typical bolt handle. In 1990 it was replaced by the SIG StG 90 in cal. 223 Remington. Our example features an attachment with a scope mount (25mm rings) mounted to the case with the rear sight folded down and removable without tools. Manufactors 10-rounds magazine.
