The Mauser 71 system was the first classic Mauser rifle with a rotating bolt action. It served as a model for countless other single-shot and bolt action systems worldwide. Our offered piece has the following features: Matching numbers, crowned gothic acceptance letters on the right, „crown over FW“ on the left, very good barrel, original condition spotted on the outside of the barrel, stock with imperceptible repair marks, no proof marks - collector‘s gun. Our specimen is highly interesting for general Mauser collectors as well as for lovers of weapons from Steyr due to its manufacture in Steyr. Condition III-IV.
