71.5 cm sleeved barrels (not marked as such), concave rib, inscribed with maker's address, ejectors, choke 1/4 & 3/4, bright action with finest English rose and scroll engraving, self-opening bar action sidelocks type Beesley, cocking indicator, intercepting sears, disc set strikers, gas vents, automatic slide safety on tang, gold inlaid "Safe", mechanical single trigger, engraved with "Boss Patent", straight grained walnut stock, drop points, straight hand, Silver's rubber recoil pad 36 cm, fore-end with Anson push-rod, blank silver stock oval, all gun parts numbered "1" and "2", in a leather motor case with maker's trade label, with the original chopper lump barrels, these shortened to 63.5 cm, the no. 1 with 1975 renewed London proof, choke 1/4 & 1/2, the No. 2 no longer validly proofed due to the barrel wall thickness falling below the minimum, choke barrels, made in 1923, the 71 cm barrels with modern Birmingham proof, restored to condition 3.
