The basic cloth of the tunic is dark blue, almost black, the stand-up collar, the cuffs tapering to the top and all skirt edge flaps are made of crimson(?) red levelling cloth. On the collar the staff officer's border and 1 silver embroidered distinction star each, the cuffs with golden 'bear paws', a row of 6 smooth yellow buttons, the welded lap pocket flaps on the back set with three identical buttons each. A small, smooth, gilded, hemispherical button sits on the upper end of the pointed gold braid of the braid trim on the cuffs of each sleeve, the back of the cuffs has a small, smooth, yellow button at the upper end. The inside of the body is lined with grey silk, and the lap portion of the skirt is lined with black silk. Very good condition. Attached is the yellow silk officer's field ribbon (FJI) as well as 2 decorations (Jübiläumskreuz 1908 and Signum Laudis). The Hungarian Infantry Regiment 96 carried the crimson levelling colour and yellow buttons. Condition II.
