63,5 cm long nickel plated sharpened blade, fullered, up to the middle etched with hunting motifs, without maker‘s mark, brass hilt, inlaid bone grips in handle, strap and crossguard decorated with oak leaf, ending with a stag‘s leg, on the shell a later mounted Austrian double eagle beneath an Imperial crown, leather scabbard with brass furniture, also decorated with oak leaf, presumably service arm of an Austrian hunting official, made before 1900, condition IV.
