71 cm barrels, concave rib signed with maker's address "63 Pall Mall, St. James's, London", formerly colour hardened action, Anson & Deeley boxlock signed with "William Evans", sparse scroll engraving, ejectors, double triggers, automatic sliding tang safety, chokedd 1/4 and 3/4, walnut stock, straight hand, elongated with wood by 3 cm to 36 cm, chequered butt, fore-end with Anson push-rod, blank silver stock oval, year of manufacture / proof 1937, technically sound, blueing of barrels rubbed and a few nicks to the rib, so condition 3-4.
