74 cm swamped octagonal barrel of twist Damascus, on top gold inlaid with the maker's name "Anton Klein in Viennan", dovetailed front sight, standing rear sight with 2 additional folding leaves, gold inlaid maker's name, gold ribbons inlaid breech ends, back-action hammer lock, flats lock-plate finely engraved with scallops and inscribed with the maker's name, laterally flattened dolphin-shaped hammer, counter-lockplate and furniture of wrought brass engraved with baroque hunt scenes, huntsmen with hounds, double set trigger, walnut-full stock, brass buttplate 32 cm, patchbox with sliding cover on the right butt, squared cheekpiece on the left, small carving on stock, sling swivel and button, walnut ramrod, year of manufacture: presumably adapted around 1830 to caplock from a flintlock rifle made about 1760 (A. Klein is listed as master gunmaker in Vienna in 1753), condition II-III.
