Hollitzer", soldered silver coloured cruciform front sight, bar-action hammer lock, colour-hardened flat lock-plate engraved and inscribed "Ainsidl in Vienna", laterally flattened hammer, tang engraved and inscribed "1", behind that a silver inlaids plate engraved with initial "L" beneath a prince's crown, iron furniture with pineapple ferules, 3 ramrod pipes, walnut-full stock with integral, carved trigger guard, chequering in Fleur-de-Lis style, sloping cheekpiece, en-suite engraved steel buttplate, sling swivels and -knopf, barrel with 3 wedge fasteners, ramrod with horn tip, year of manufacture about 1830, Franz Ainsidl is acc.ording to Stoeckel registered between 1800 and 1837 in Vienna, since 1817 as master gunmaker. condition III-IV.
