70 cm replaced barrels of Böhler Blitz, fitted by Ferlach gunmakers, concave engine-turned rib, ejectors, choked 1/2 & full, bright French grey action, Greener crossbolt, back-action sidelocks, intercepting sears, cocking indicators on tang, engraved with scroll, banner with maker's name "Nowotny a Prague", sliding tang safety (to be checked), gold-washed double triggers, walnut stock with arrowhead-shaped points (removed on the left), shallow pistol grip, oval cheekpiece, horn buttplate 36 cm, fore-end with Anson push-rod, sling swivels, 3 kg, Ferlach reproof of 1972, action very slightly loose when the fore-end is taken off, obviously replaced small lock pins, otherwise restored to condition 3-4.
