Rare and very collectable falling block rifle after the patent of W. Field (only 24 units produced), express sights with additional folding leaves and folding tangent sight up to 600 yds., action engraved on the left with "Holland & Holland", opening lever on the right, external hammer, barrel engraved with "Barrel manufactured by Daniel Fraser - 4 Leith Street Terrace, Edinburgh", bore a little dull in the rifling, trigger guard engraved with serial number 17225, 2-piece walnut stock with horn tip and closed drills to the tang (obviously a peep sight has later been removed), typical lateral strengthening steel bands to relief the pistol grip, later added rubber recoil pad, condition III.
