The famous FN FAL as a factory semi-automatic was produced in Great Britain under license from FN by Birmingham Small Arms and others. Our example from this production was produced in 1962 and apparently exported to Israel, since the Israeli armed forces had also introduced this type of weapon, along with about 60 other countries of the Free World. In Austria this was the fully automatic StG 58, produced under license from FN by Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG. Mounted with an Israeli target sight, the function of which was not checked. Cracks in the butt at the neck area, otherwise good but used condition. Can also be purchased as category B without the long 20-round magazine.
