Quarter rib with swivel mount bases, sight with light collecting front sight, ejectors, bright bulged round-body action, fully engraved by hand with foliage ornaments and arabesques, disc-set strikers, locking via double three-piece underlug, sliding tang safety, single trigger, half-beavertail fore-end with Anson push-rod, walnut stock with very beautiful decoration, fine checkering, straight stock with drop points, cut stock end with engraved steel edging. Swivel mount with Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.25 - x 24 T* reticle 8, in a leather case with linen cover.
Obviously unused noble weapon with storage traces from the world-famous manufacture Verney-Carron. This specimen was made by gunsmith Charles Jeandet as a unique piece for a friend of the Verney-Carron family.
